Capsulares
Embajada, San Juan, 2023
A companion piece to Portales y Desgastes (Portals and Decay), Capsulares is an inquisitive assembling of memory through the use of ready-made materials: old office cabinets that glow from the inside and onto a painting carefully placed above them. “Like an X-Ray,” says the artist.
Every painting represents a unique fracture of memory zeroed in by the light, highlighting the root of the matter: the breakage of our collective past.
